Susan J. Collini, CASC, RT, RDMS, RDCS, owner of AoI is also the Administrative & Facility Director of The Renaissance Center For Plastic Surgery. Susan has 20+ years of experience working in the plastic surgery and beauty industry. She has co-authored a book on cosmetic surgery, Two Girlfriends Get Real About Cosmetic Surgery (2GGR). Susan continues to write about surgery, life and beauty in her co-authored blog 2GGR, most recently published in Inside the Back Mountain. Susan prides herself and AoI for being the “go to” place when trying to find “what’s real” and “what’s not” in the field of services and cosmeceuticals. Susan feels that EVERY woman can look and feel her best at any age! Age of Innocence epitomizes her philosophies and ideals and Susan shares them and her Secrets with you!
Lauren Carey (LC)
Assistant Manager & Head Hair Stylist, Microblading & Cosmetic Tattoo Artist
Lauren is the assistant manager and senior stylist at “Age of Innocence Salon and Day Spa,” AOI. She is also the cosmetic tattoo artist for “The Renaissance Center for Plastic Surgery,” working directly with Dr. Francis J. Collini, MD. She began her career as a cosmetologist at AOI, graduating from Empire Beauty School. She continues to do hair, specializing in cuts, color, balayaging, ombres, Brazilian blowouts, and extensions. Shortly into her career, she was given the opportunity to apprentice with world-renowned cosmetic tattoo artist Carmella Shultz. Carmella has 24 years of experience in the cosmetic tattoo business. Lauren apprenticed with Carmella for one year before bringing her talents to The Renaissance Center. Lauren is certified in blood borne pathogens and is a member of the SPCP for cosmetic tattoo artistry. She is certified as a CPCP, which is the highest recognized international accreditation for cosmetic tattooing. Lauren received her BA from Drew University, Madison, NJ in 2005. Lauren prides herself in always studying new techniques and new trends through classes, videos and seminars in hopes to further her education. Lauren is a perfectionist with her craft: so Lauren isn’t happy until you are happy!
Derek J Peters
Director of The Collini Laser Clinic
A state licensed aesthetician with a concentration in medical aesthetic procedures. Having split his training between the NEPA region and the Philadelphia area he received cutting edge training on the latest equipment and skin care trends. For 10 plus years, Derek has worked in a wide variety of professional capacities, including spa and medical facilities. His passion, continuing education, and trend seeking services allow him to cover a wide range of skin care concerns. Derek strives for “results driven skin care“ utilizing Vivace, CO2 Cool Peel, Infini, Cynosure, Vectus, ICON and Picosure lasers and many more.
Kim Stesney
Nail Technician
Kimberly Stesney graduated cosmetology school in 1995, giving her years to perfect her craft. Kim has worked in many different environments, keeping up with the latest nail trends and technologies. As a 10 year veteran of AoI, Kim’s experience in a medical atmosphere sets her apart from other manicure experts by making sure that cleanliness and nail health are top priorities. Along with her technical prowess, Kim’s nail artistry is exquisite! Any client considering unique nail adornment will revel in Kim’s creative and colorful designs!
Karen Turi RN, BSN
She worked for Clinique and completed master classes in skin care and has more than 25 years of experience in the industry. Karen focuses on chemical peels, Microdermabrasion, Perfector, HydraFacial, Verju, Endermology, Arasys, multiple lasers, and “at home” skin care education.
Sara Collini
Office Manager & Marketing Coordinator
Sara is the office manager and marking coordinator for AOI since joining the team in 2020. Sara received her Bachelor of Arts in Communications/Public Relations from Susquehanna University in 2012. She comes to us with experience in inside sales, healthcare public relations and marketing, fundraising, special event coordination and administration support. Sara handles scheduling for the salon and Collini Laser Clinic, administrative tasks, marketing and inventory.
Jenn Verdine
Senior Stylist
Jenn recently moved back from Florida and joined our team in the summer of 2022. She has 20+ years of experience in the industry and specializes in cuts, color, highlights and Brazilian Blowouts. She is a graduate and former Cosmetology instructor at Academy of Creative Hair Design. She finds it very rewarding for her clients to leave the salon feeling and looking their best!
Celine Widdick
Licensed Aesthetician
Celine is a licensed aesthetician with 8+ years of experience. She specializes in many treatments such as acne, aging, pigmentation, dermaplaning, chemical peels & LED light therapy. She is happy to be part of Team Collini and demonstrate her love and passion for skincare.
Suzanne Mattern
Licensed Electrologist
After struggling for years with unwanted facial hair, due to heredity and hormonal imbalances, Suzanne made a career change and it is her mission to help others with similar concerns. Suzanne performs Electrolysis (the only FDA-approved method for permanent hair removal) for women and men. As an expert in hair removal, Suzanne received her training at one of the premiere schools for Electrolysis in Coral Springs, FL.
Kelly Biamonte
AOI Yoga & Fitness Instructor
Kelly has been teaching fitness classes for 38 years and offering personal training for 25 years. She is ACE certified since 1994 in group and personal training. Kelly is Yoga 200 hour certified since 2000 and is an ACE certified Mind and Body Specialist.
Kayleen Kraynak
Makeup Artist / Eyelash Extensions
Kayleen specializes in eyelash extensions and makeup application here at AOI! She is certified in eyelash extensions and Yumi lash lift & tint as well as eyebrow lamination.
Kayleen started applying strip lashes on herself and helping friends with theirs in high school. Soon after she got her first set of lash extensions and quickly fell in love with them! She received her Cosmetology license from Susquehanna County Career and Technology Center in 2022.
